Americans morn Americans Lost
You know, just when you think, you have the emotions in line.... I have found, ( over and over ) such is not the case. I have lost a couple of gallons of tears. Just when I thought I had it under control they show on tv, English military playing our Star Spangled Banner. I'm telling you, that tune alone waters up my eyes but seeing the English play it just sent me over the edge, again. Then, I get myself together and they show people in other countries shedding tears for us and off I go again. If anything can be beautiful about this whole horrid ordeal I would have to say the re-newed patriotisim in all of us and how the whole world is behind us, where just a few days ago, they all thought of us as the bad guys.

Now they show people with pictures of missing family or play one of those phone calls....... Reports of searchers tearing the skin off of their hands, moving concrete and glass. And then you hear of somebody being found alive, and I find myself bawling like it was one of my family members that was found. I am 49 in less than a month and have seen some things.

A president shot, his brother Bobby also gone. Martin Luther King shot, and that shit George Wallace get gunned. Viet Nam, I sweated it out when my nephew Dan was some where in the desert, not heard from anyone, during Desert Storm... My father dying from Cancer in 1983 and my dear mother's sudden passing in 1996.... As bad as this all was, none of it has affected me the way that this past week has.

I wanted to do something to help. I live 3,000 miles away from New York and I couldn't be there to help. I have no money to give. I decided that I could best help by remembering our family killed. Our American family who's lives were snuffed out at the hands of those, cowards.

I will be posting a complete list of names as they become available.

" Those who die for their country, or at the hands of the unjust, must be forever remembered in the hearts of us who remain behind to light and watch the fires of freedom, and in the hearts of those whom freedom guards. "
